Alyssa Rudd, MBA, is a communications consultant at Bascom Communications.

Rudd executes external communications strategies on behalf of BCC’s clients, crafting content, pitching stories, and tracking and analyzing media coverage, among other activities. Rudd also provides communications support for BCC by assisting its leadership team on various client, company and administrative projects from start to finish.

While at BCC, Rudd has gained notable experience on two successful congressional campaigns in the state of Florida. During the 2023 and 2024 Florida Legislative Sessions, she was responsible for tracking legislation and helped BCC develop communications products tailored to meet the legislative goals of BCC’s clients. Additionally, Rudd spearheads the firm’s internship program.

Rudd joined the BCC team while completing her master’s at Florida State University (FSU). During this time, she gained experience in developing media reports and aggregating and monitoring news and social media. After her graduation in 2022, Rudd transitioned from an intern to a full-time team member for BCC.

In 2024, Rudd was named one of the “30 Under 30 Rising Stars in Florida Politics” in INFLUENCE Magazine by Florida Politics.

Rudd holds a Master of Business Administration degree from FSU and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Rudd was born and raised in Florida’s capital city, where she currently resides.
