Alyssa Rudd is a communications specialist at Bascom Communications.

Rudd executes external communications strategies on behalf of BCC’s clients, crafting content, pitching stories, and tracking and analyzing media coverage, among other activities. Rudd also provides communications support for BCC by assisting its consultants and leadership team on various client, company and administrative projects from start to finish.

While at BCC, Rudd has gained notable experience on two successful congressional campaigns in the state of Florida. During the 2023 Florida Legislative Session, she was responsible for tracking legislation and helped BCC develop communications products tailored to meet the legislative goals of BCC’s clients. Additionally, Rudd spearheads the firm’s internship program.

Rudd joined the BCC team while completing her master’s at Florida State University. During this time, she gained experience in developing media reports and aggregating and monitoring news and social media, as well as discovering her passion for political and strategic communications. After her graduation in 2022, Rudd transitioned from an intern to a full-time team member for BCC.

Rudd graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Rudd was born and raised in Florida’s capital city, where she currently resides.
