AT&T FLORIDA: 2007 CONSUMER CHOICE ACT – CABLE COMPETITION LEGISLATION

In advance of the 2007 Legislative Session, Sarah Bascom and Kristen Bridges devised and executed a legislative communications plan that began in October 2006 advancing the upcoming Session. This successful legislative communications strategy, which resulted in the legislation becoming law in July 2007, focused on coalition building among minority, senior advocacy groups and respected members of the business community.

The coalition executed paid media, earned media, aggressive editorial board outreach and opinion editorial placement – using all available mediums to deliver the targeted messaging and polling data to all desired target audiences to meet the client’s desired end goal.
